Inverse bremsstrahlung absorption in the planar corona of a laser target

J A Nicolas1986年Plasma Physics and Controlled FusionIF 2.2出版社

Inverse bremsstrahlung effects in the corona of a laser target are considered, for short wavelengths and pulses, and large pellets (or focal spots); the corona is then planar, unsteady and parametrized by three dimensionless numbers. For a sufficiently low intensity I, with I varies as t32/, a self-similar asymptotic analysis is carried out. Absorption, mass ablation rate and ablation pressure are determined.
