The expression for the free-free Gaunt factors gIII for hydrogenic systems is expanded into easily computable forms, which are valid for most realistic values of photon and electron energy. Temperature-averaged values of gIII are also computed down to kT=0.1 eV, although lower temperatures are permissible.
