A model for treating ripple induced fast ion losses during ion cyclotronresonance frequencyheating is presented. It is suitable for codes solving an orbit averagedthree-dimensionalFokker-Planck equation with a Monte Carlo method, and has been implemented insuch a code. The resulting code has been used for a comparison withexperimental data form Tore Supra and for assessing the ripple induced lossesin different ICRF heating scenarios.
