The prospects of thermo-strengthened Nd-glass application to high-power pulse-repetitive lasers

A.A Mak, V.M Mit'kin, V.A Serebryakov1999年Fusion Engineering and DesignIF 1.7出版社

AbstractThermal resistance of Nd:Glasses was investigated. The possibility to increase it was shown by the process of tempering. Corresponding strengthening effect results in enhancement of laser average output power. In addition the tempering of laser slabs improves the spatiol beam parameters due to the elimination of deformation of geometrical form.
