Structural change of amorphous alloy irradiated experimentally and computationally

Molecular dynamics simulations were carried out to reveal a structural change in an amorphous Pd80Si20 irradiated by 14 MeV neutrons at RNS-II and protons accelerated by a Van de Graaf accelerator. The structural change observed in a small-angle region of the structure factor X-ray diffraction was attributed to a void produced by atomic displacements.
