The work investigates a pulsed erosion plasma source and the separation of the ion fluxes generated by this source in the DIS-1 prototype mass filter. and electrode systems were used to form multicomponent metal–oxide plasma containing two mass groups. The plasma-forming products were characterized by optical emission spectroscopy and SEM/EDS diagnostics. Measurements of the currents to the radial and end collectors in the plasma mass filter confirm the separation effect in crossed fields when Hz is varied in the range of at a fixed radial electric field of .
