AbstractNeutron-induced reactions producing light charged particles continue to be investigated at the spallation fast-neutron source at the Los Alamos Neutron Science Center (LANSCE). New data on the cross sections for a-particle production for neutrons on 58Ni and 60Ni are presented from threshold to 50 MeV. Recent changes in the experiment now allow protons, deuterons, tritons, 3He and α-particles to be identified.
