AbstractThe main technical features of the IRCH system with a maximum output of 1 MW (60 s) that was built up for the superconducting Tokamak HT-7 at ASIPP are described. The system consists of a generator, transmission line, impedance matching network, antenna and feedthrough, RF-assisted vacuum carbonization system, RF-leakage detection system. The recent activities on expanding the RF designing capabilities and further improving the system performance are outlined.
