The authors discuss results obtained in measuring the radiation power of a plasma under different discharge regimes in a Tokamak-3 device. Experiments are described in which xenon is added. It is demonstrated by the authors that the fraction of energy lost by radiation increases with the plasma density and decreases as the energy input is increased.
