Curvilinear magnetic-well elements for the Drakon trap with circular magnetic surfaces

Different variants of curvilinear elements (CRELs) for the closed plasma confinement system 'Drakon' are compared from the point of view of the effectiveness of introducing S-shaped stabilizing magnetic mirrors into them. The possibility of stabilizing plasma at moderate mirror ratios (Π = Bmax/Bmin = 3) is demonstrated.
