AbstractAn integrated concept for exhaust pumping, impurity removal, and impurity processing is described. This process is based as far as possible on proven elements, or those under intensive investigation in fusion facilities around the world. The integration of a cryogenic roughing pump with He pump-through (separation) which simplifies the exhaust purification, and total reflux of the electrolyzer products which permits a low-waste clean-up system, are novel process enhancements.
