Magnetic field profiles have been measured in the ETA BETA II reversed field pinch (RFP) experiment by a set of insertable probes for discharges in which both the plasma current and the toroidal field at the wall are sustained. At a high value of the pinch parameter large oscillations are externally measured on the toroidal flux and on the other global quantities during the sustainment of the discharge. These oscillations are found to correspond to large current redistributions in the plasma.
ETA BETA II反転磁場ピンチ(RFP)実験において、プラズマ電流と壁におけるトロイダル磁場の両方が維持される放電に対して、挿入可能なプローブ群を用いて磁場プロファイルの測定を行った。ピンチパラメータが高い値の場合、放電の維持中にトロイダル磁束およびその他の全体量に大きな振動が外部で観測された。これらの振動は、プラズマ内の大きな電流再分布に対応することが見出された。
