Electron thermal conduction for steep temperature gradients

G Murtaza, A M Mirza, M S Qaisar1991年Plasma Physics and Controlled FusionIF 2.2出版社

A new delocalized heat transport formula has been derived by solving the reduced Fokker-Planck equation and by using the nondiffusive approximation for the electron distribution function. The authors have found that for moderately high-Z plasmas, the maximum heat flow expression is modified in the steep gradient limit and is found to be in good agreement with the numerical Fokker-Planck simulation results. Also, in the gentle gradient limit, the usual classical Spitzer-Harm heat flux expression is recovered.
