Thomson scattering of laser light is a powerful diagnostic technique for laboratory plasmas. It has been used to measure density and temperature in a wide range of plasma conditions [1, 2].The theoretical spectrum for a collisionless Maxwellian plasma in a uniform and static magnetic field has been calculated by several authors [3,4].
