The velocity distribution of rapid ions with superthermal velocity in a non-isothermal plasma

Yu.N. Dnestrovsky, D.P. Kostomarov1971年被引用 2Nuclear FusionIF 3出版社

The ion velocity distribution in a non-isothermal plasma with Te≠Ti is considered. The difference between this distribution and the Maxwellian distribution is studied. It is shown that under certain conditions the number of rapid ions with superthermal velocity may be much larger than in the Maxwellian distribution with the same temperature.
