Plasma compression by light pressure

A. Caruso, F. Gratton1965年被引用 4Nuclear FusionIF 3出版社

For giant pulse lasers with light amplifier, the rise time of the pulse is 0.001 nsec, the duration is 1 nsec. The light from the laser, focused on a speck (10 μ) of solid material, by its pressure can overbalance the pressure of a high temperature and high density plasma. The initial stage of a plane system is briefly studied and, in more detail, the subsequent dynamics.
