This paper reports numerical investigations on the identification of the electron temperature profile Te from interferometry and polarimetry Stokes vector measurements with the equilibrium code Newton direct and inverse computation for equilibrium. This latter enables the consistent resolution of the inverse equilibrium reconstruction problem in the framework of nonlinear free-boundary equilibrium coupled to the Stokes model equation for polarimetry. We find that for ITER plasma with high Ip, Ne and Te the identification from noisy measurements is possible.
