Data of accelerated-deuteron energy spectra measurements in a plasma focus are presented. To obtain the deuteron spectra, a nuclear emulsion was used. – The dependence of the deuteron energy on the pinch configuration and on its size is considered. The pinch height is regulated by the anode design of the experimental device. It is shown that, in a small pinch, the deuteron energy distribution has several clear maxima (plane anode). For large pinch height (anode with central aperture) the deuteron energy distribution is found to be monotonic. – On the basis of the data, the location of the zone of accelerated deuterons is discussed.
