AbstractThe heat wave modulation was used in ECRH experiments in the L-2M stellarator to determine the absorption region and the thermal diffusion coefficient. The temperature response of the plasma was followed by ECE and SXR diagnostics. It is shown that the absorption region has a nonlocal character, and its size is dependent on the magnetic field. The estimated value of the electron thermal diffusivity coefficient turns out to be higher than expected.
