Poloidal divertor configuration with ripple limiters for a fusion experimental reactor

AbstractIn order to reduce the He ash concentration and the heat flux to divertor plates, the poloidal divertor configuration with ripple limiters is suggested. The He ash concentration is significantly reduced and the heat flux to the poloidal divertor is largely adjusted, even if the insertion depth of the limiter in the ripple field is short. The use of the ripple limiters is also effective for the evaporation of the oxygen gettering materials such as B or Be.
