A model is developed for the MHD equilibrium of toroidal and axial magneto-plasmas (MP). This model, although not very restrictive, can easily be used in numerical applications. An adequate coordinate system is first defined for each geometry. Then, a limitation is introduced for the vector-potential A in relation to this system (zero radial component) to get simplified expressions for Maxwell's equations. Next, the equilibrium conditions characteristic of the MP thus defined are obtained. Last, the equations of motion of the charged particles are established and explicated in a remarkably simple form for the toroidal case. An example of the equilibrium is given in the Annex.
