This section describes the experimental results of full-array tests without pulsed field; these are the 8-T design-point tests, high-field torus tests, and out-of-plane load tests. The designed current distributions of coil array tests are discussed in section 3. In actual tests, the distributions were modified because of the different magnetomotive force of each coil. The current distributions were chosen so that out-of-plane loads for the test coil would be as low as possible and so that overloading of the background coils would be avoided. These distributions are summarized in tables in each section.
