Quantum screening effects on orientation phenomena for the screening andantiscreening channels in ion-ion collisional excitations are investigated insemiclassical plasmas. An effective pseudopotential model taking into accountboth the quantum effects and the plasma screening effects is applied todescribe the ion-ion interaction potential in semiclassical plasmas. Theresult shows that a preference for the 1s→2p-1 transitionof the target ion in the antiscreening channel is stronger than that in thescreening channel. For both the screening and antiscreening channels, thequantum effects increase a preference for the 1s→2p-1transition. However, a preference for the 1s→2p-1transition is decreased with increasing quantum effects in small impactparameters. The quantum effects on the screening channel are found to bestronger than those on the antiscreening channel.
