Neoclassical particle diffusion and heat transport are discussed for tokamak-like devices in the "banana" regime (νeff < ωb) with helically perturbed magnetic fields such as might be produced by kink-like instabilities. The diffusion coefficient scales as D ∼(ν1/ν) ξ2 Dpl where ξ is related to the amplitude of the perturbation and ν is the collision frequency. For typical experimental parameters and sufficiently low collision frequency, transport is moderately enhanced over the axisymmetric result.
