The Symposium was organized by the Plasma Research Center, University of Tsukuba, with the support of the Fusion Research Association of Japan and the Foundation for Advancement of International Science. It was attended by about 100 participants from 11 countries, among whom 59 came from Japan, 22 from the USA, and two from the USSR. Brazil, the Federal Republic of Germany, France, India, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, and Sweden were represented by one participant each.
抄録： 本シンポジウムは、筑波大学プラズマ研究センターが主催し、核融合研究会および国際科学振興財団の支援を受けて開催された。参加者は11か国から約100名が集まり、その内訳は日本から59名、米国から22名、ソ連から2名であった。また、ブラジル、西ドイツ、フランス、インド、イタリア、オランダ、ノルウェー、スウェーデンからはそれぞれ1名が参加した。
