The heat conductivity of banana particles in a magnetic field with ripples at low collision frequency is examined. A new type of banana-drift transport is discovered, approximately 103 times greater 103 than the familiar magnitude and in continuous transition to ripple-plateau transport χRP in the higher collision frequency range. Combining χRP with the new type of banana-drift transport, the authors arrive at a universal banana-ripple heat conductivity χBR which is valid for any plasma temperature. It is shown that in the T > 5 keV region χBR is very sensitive to the magnitude of the radial electric field and may either decrease or increase (for Er < 0) in value.
