The research of two-dimensional axisymmetric plasma flows in the channel of the quasi-steady plasma accelerator (QSPA) was carried out on the basis of the MHD equations taking into account the electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, and radiation transport. The plasma accelerator is considered as an injector for magnetic traps. Conditions are determined to obtain the high-energy deuterium–tritium plasma flows in which the ion energy at the outlet from the QSPA is large enough to provide a subsequent fusion reaction in the prospective thermonuclear installations.
