The 17th European Conference on Controlled Fusion and Plasma Heating was held at the Free University of Amsterdam, under the auspices of the Plasma Physics Division of the European Physical Society (EPS). About 500 scientists attended the meeting. The programme included 18 invited papers; of the contributed papers, 24 were selected for oral presentation and 470 for poster presentation. Approximately 80% of the contributions concerned tokamak research.
第17回欧州制御核融合・プラズマ加熱会議は、欧州物理学会（EPS）プラズマ物理部門の主催により、アムステルダム自由大学で開催された。約500名の科学者が会議に出席した。プログラムには18件の招待講演が含まれ、一般講演のうち24件が口頭発表、470件がポスター発表として選ばれた。発表の約80%はトカマク研究に関するものであった。
