Scientists and engineers, engaged in design, construction and operation, as well as programme planners, met last year for the '12th SOFT' (Symposium on Fusion Technology) at the Jülich Nuclear Research Centre (KFA Jülich) from September 13 to 17. Just under 500 participants from twenty countries in North America, Asia, Australia and Europe were registered.
設計、建設、運転に携わる科学者や技術者、ならびに計画立案者たちは、昨年、9月13日から17日までユーリッヒ原子力研究センター（KFAユーリッヒ）で開催された「第12回SOFT」（核融合技術シンポジウム）に集まった。北アメリカ、アジア、オーストラリア、ヨーロッパの20か国から、500人弱の参加者が登録された。
