AbstractThis paper describes and discusses the operation of JET Remote Handling (RH) equipment and the infrastructure and equipment required to support it during an RH intervention on JET. The paper covers the design and implementation of the man-Machine interface (MMI), the identification and categorisation of RH tasks and the influence that these have on the machine design and the method of operation of RH equipment and all support infrastructure such as active handling facilities. The paper concludes with a review of the RH programme and its relationship to the JET programme.
本論文は、JETにおけるRH介入中の遠隔操作（RH）機器の運用と、それを支援するために必要なインフラについて述べ、考察するものである。本論文は、マンマシンインターフェース（MMI）の設計と実装、RHタスクの特定と分類、およびこれらが機械設計とRH機器の運用方法、ならびにアクティブハンドリング施設などのすべての支援インフラに与える影響について扱う。本論文は、RHプログラムのレビューと、JETプログラムとの関係についての考察をもって締めくくる。
