Magnetic surfaces in a non-linear time-dependent compact torus

A Ag, Gy Paris, G Nemeth1984年Plasma Physics and Controlled FusionIF 2.2出版社

A spheromak plasma is investigated taking into account the Hall currents to show the effect of the simplest possible non-linearity. The system exhibits non-linear oscillations. The magnetic surfaces are determined as a function of time in a very perturbed case. The system exhibits good stability, and the improvement is in the order of the decay time.
