Discrete ordinate treatment of neutral particle transport with a spatially dependent temperature distribution

R H Szilard, G C Pomraning1988年Plasma Physics and Controlled FusionIF 2.2出版社

The discrete ordinate (S-N) method is used to solve a linear model of the Boltzmann equation corresponding to the transport of neutral hydrogen atoms in a hydrogen plasma. A non-conventional transport calculational scheme is developed in order to include a spatially dependent temperature distribution within the framework of the discrete ordinate method. The details of the numerical method are presented and numerical results are reported.
