In the two fluid theory for a general static equilibrium without symmetry and with finite β, it is possible to obtain an equation over the velocity field perturbation. This is done by taking into account a stress tensor containing the finite Larmor radius, the viscosity arising from collisions, and the complete Ohm's law. In this equation the space operators, with the exception of the one with the Hall term, have symmetry properties. One can see qualitatively the possible destabilizing effect of the Hall term, the stabilizing effect of the finite ion Larmor radius, the stabilizing and destabilizing effects of the viscosity.
