An analytic solution of the inhomogenous coupled diffusion problem

The coupled transport of density and temperature perturbations in cylindrical geometry is considered and an analytic solution, valid in regions in which the perturbed sources do not vanish, is given. An application is made to JET ICRF power modulation experiments. Criteria for the validity of far-field solutions are derived.
