A modelling scheme for the direct electron heating profiles during ion cyclotron resonance heating

T. Hellsten, L.-G. Eriksson1989年被引用 15Nuclear FusionIF 3出版社

For plasmas with high electron temperature and density, damping of the magnetosonic wave in the ion cyclotron range of frequencies by electron transit time magnetic pumping and electron Landau damping becomes important. To calculate the power deposition profiles and the amount of power being absorbed by these processes, the power deposition profiles in tokamak plasmas have been analysed with the LION code. A simple formula for the power deposition has been obtained.
