It is well known [1] that in linear approximation longitudinal monochromatic waves with frequencies close to the Langmuir plasma frequency can occur in an infinite homogeneous plasma, provided that account is taken of weak spatial dispersion. The amplitudes of these waves depend on the space co-ordinates by a periodic law.
