Laser plasma conferences have been organized in various countries each year since 1965.Attending the Moscow conference were more than 200 scientists from Czechoslovakia, Eastern Germany, the Federal Republic of Germany, France, Japan, Romania, the United Kingdom, the United States of America and the USSR.
