Standard reduced models often fail to adequately describe the complex geometric response of tokamak plasmas to strong toroidal rotation. In this work, we present VEQ-R, a computationally efficient spectral solver designed to calculate fixed-boundary single-fluid equilibria with a prescribed macroscopic toroidal angular-velocity profile. In contrast to computationally intensive grid-based codes, our model employs a 12-parameter shifted Chebyshev spectral expansion to explicitly resolve radial variations in high-order shaping profiles, such as dynamic elongation and triangularity. This capability allows the solver to capture differential flux-surface distortions (non-rigid effects) in exploratory sonic-regime stress tests (). By combining this compact formulation with a ‘Matrix-kernel’ acceleration technique, we transform the projected equilibrium equations into reusable algebraic matrix operations. The resulting implementation preserves good geometric fidelity relative to high-resolution fixed-boundary benchmarks while enabling rapid parameter scans. Our analysis shows that rotation-induced flux compression produces a monotonic reduction of the core safety factor toward unity in the computed equilibria. This trend is reported as an equilibrium-level indicator, motivating subsequent stability analysis rather than replacing it.
